Hotel Imperial master chefs cooked for Polish President Bronislav Komorowsky

The Hotel Imperial kitchen team was honored, once again, to prepare a menu for the President of the Polish Republic during his official visit to the Czech Republic. The gala menu was served at Prague Castle on Monday February 21, 2011.
The hors d`oeuvres consisted of goat cheese in vegetables served with pear preservative and a nut roll and of warm cream soup with dill, mushrooms ("kulajda") and a quail egg. The main course comprised boar ragout with carrots and Karlovy Vary dumplings. The sweet crown of the menu came in the form of pear ice-cream with caramelized fruit.
The list of beverages offered, among others, the Pear Willliams aperitif and the Pilsner Urquell beer. The choice of wines included Merlot with attribute, grape selection of 2007 or Pálava raising selection of 2009.
